Reducing bedhead will lessen the harmful effect on your hair follicles; cutting down on breakage, snapping and thinning of your mane. Extending the life of your blowdry will also mean less use of heat styling tools and products that can be damaging to the health of your hair. Perfect for anyone wanting to grow or thicken their hair; or those committed to keeping their hair healthy.
Hair extensions love silk too! Protect your extensions from knotting and matting with our Pure Silk Pillowcase, and help extend their life as well.
Silk is also known for its lightness and breathability, making for a more comfortable temperature-controlled sleep. These pillowcases won’t draw moisture away from your hair the way other materials do, and will lessen any perspiration from your head and neck, naturally.
Using a Hello Hair Pure Silk Pillowcase will help your blow-dry survive overnight AND reduce sweating, so you’ll spend less time washing and styling your hair, and have more time to sleep in! Dream. Come. True.
The soft glide of your Hello Hair Pure Silk Pillowcase has the bonus feature of reducing damage to your skin.
Minimise the unnecessary stretching and creasing associated with traditional (cotton or synthetic) pillowcases by switching to silk. This will help prevent premature ageing or wrinkles, as you wave goodbye to that dreaded sleep-crease.
Your skin will also love the fact that silk isn’t drying like other materials, and that silk is anti-bacterial and hypo-allergenic, so will keep your face cleaner and clearer while you sleep.
Our Pure Silk Pillowcases are available in a single Standard Size – designed to comfortably fit most standard pillows.

Follow these recommendations to ensure a long and happy relationship with your pillowcase:
Dry cleaning is the safest way to extend the life of your silks, but for most of us it is not achievable when it comes to the expense of dry cleaning bed linen.
Hand washing will ensure delicate handling of your silk pillowcase.
We recommend using a natural, pH-neutral detergent (one that specifies it is safe for silk) or a gentle shampoo.
Use cold water only (below 30°C/ 86°F), and rinse well after.
Try rinsing with a vinegar and water solution to eliminate any soap residue, reduce any yellowing of the silk, and also restore the natural soft lustre of the silk.
Machine washing is possible, providing you follow these important rules:
1. Always use a delicates bag.
2. Always use a cold cycle (below 30°C/ 86°F), or a “Delicates” or “Handwash” cycle if your machine allows for it.
3. Use a detergent that is safe for use with silks. We highly recommend using natural and pH-neutral laundry detergents.
4. Rinse with a vinegar and water solution to eliminate any soap residue, reduce any yellowing of the silk, and also restore the natural soft lustre of the silk.
Always treat stains quickly to reduce their ability to cause damage to the silk.
Keep your Hello Hair Hydrating Mask away from your Hello Hair Pure Silk Pillowcase as the oils could be a nightmare to remove!
Drying your silk pillowcase is an important step.
We encourage air-drying, by hanging or laying the pillowcase flat on a towel. Line-drying your pillowcase is fine, but be wary of direct sunlight as it can cause yellowing of the silk fibres.
Ironing is a great way to dry your silk pillowcases.
If you plan to iron your silk, it is recommended that you always iron inside-out, preferably while the pillowcase is still slightly damp. Alternatively, you can use the steam function of your iron on a silk/low setting.
